Refund policy Warranty, Returns & Exchanges
In order to be considered a valid request for an exchange, the defect must have only occurred during production. All garments are guaranteed against defects in workmanship. We only provide products from reputable manufacturers that have been in the industry for years.
To be eligible for a replacement product, your item, packaging and shipping box must be in their original state and unused. You’ll also need the receipt with the order number.
To be considered for a return and replacement, you have 10 days after receiving your order to inspect products for any defect.
As soon as you receive your order and PRIOR to trying on your support and compression garments, carefully open each package and using donning or vinyl gloves, inspect each item. Make sure not to tear or throw away any part of the package and retain the shipping box and receipt with the order number. For hygienic reasons. we do not accept returns of worn/used merchandise. All sale items and gift cards are final sales.
If you inspect your products without donning gloves, wear jewelry and/or have sharp nails, this could cause a tear in the material and you will not be able to return the item if you mishandle them.
- if you tried on or wore the garment and then noticed a defect
- if you tore the garment by accident due to sharp fingernails or toenails or from jewelry that caught the material
- improper handling (while donning and doffing)
- improper washing
- if you wear footwear with velcro or other sharp areas that could cause the material to develop a run, crack or hole
- if you wore your products on floors/outside or on sharp surfaces without shoes which caused the material to tear
- if the product has been subjected to a greater physical load than what can be expected from the product, like pulling up strongly and abruptly without donning gloves, on pantyhose
Should a manufacturer's defect be observed, take a picture of the defect to email to us. Greater Vancouver Orthopedic Supplies reserves the right to inspect ALL defective items to determine if we will accept the return and if we will provide a replacement product.
- If an item is being returned as defective or because we have made an error in your order, you will not be charged for any shipping fees associated with the error correction.
Ordering the Correct Size:
Greater Vancouver Orthopedic Supplies will not accept returns for accidental or improper size selections. Make sure you are certain of your correct sizing and style BEFORE placing your order.
Graded compression garments are unique in that unlike regular socks and stockings, compression socks and stockings are specialty products that require proper fitting to ensure that the correct size is ordered and that they will be comfortable.
At Greater Vancouver Orthopedic Supplies , we want you to find the best fitting products and have made available tools to help you do so. Take your time to use our sizing charts to choose the correct sizes for EACH product since each brand has its own sizing chart, Do not assume that you will fit the same size in a different brand.
